Enquiries, bookings and contractual evidence

Contact, event date, venue and contract data are processed to prepare and fulfil the booking under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Contract text and signature declarations are stored as evidence. Invoice data is retained under statutory obligations, Article 6(1)(c). Payment processing is described in the shop notice.

Guests and photographs

Photographs are taken when guests use the photobooth. The host’s contract alone is not a legal basis for processing every guest’s data. Participation, sharing a gallery and public publication are separate purposes. Guests must be informed on site about recording and gallery use; special interests, particularly children’s, require care. Public website or social-media use requires separate permission from the people pictured or their legal guardians.

Live gallery and file delivery

All photographs visible in the live gallery can be handed over or transferred. Sharing a gallery link gives access to images of other participants. Galleries and Fotospiel are self-hosted with Hetzner. Photobooth galleries are deleted after six months; photo originals and backups after two years. Statutory business-record retention is separate.

Optional AI images with Runware

AI image generation is a separate process from ordinary photobooth photography. Input images and, where applicable, editing instructions are transmitted to Runware Ltd, Dns House, 382 Kenton Road, Harrow, England HA3 8DP, United Kingdom (runware.ai), to generate images. Runware states in its API documentation that API data is not used for training.

The terms name infrastructure in the United States, Germany and Romania. EU-only processing is therefore not promised. The storage documentation states a default of seven days for generated media. This does not establish a deletion period for uploaded input images or editing instructions. Our own gallery and archive retention does not automatically apply to provider copies. We do not promise a Zero Data Retention configuration; the provider says it requires separate enterprise activation.

Further provider information: privacy policy. Consent for an individual AI process is separate from the host’s booking and gallery or publication permissions.
